Oh my goodness, where do I even start this blog post? Lisa and Zach have been in front of my camera for literally years. It is such a HUGE compliment to a photographer to have a family or a couple who comes back to you year after year. Session after session.
I have always clicked with Lisa because we share a love of photos that I’m not sure even our husbands quite understand, BUT they put up with! They know it’s important to us and so they make it important to them. Lisa never fails to get her sweet family in front of the camera- even when her and Zach were just a family of two! I remember when Lisa told me they were expecting. I was crying in a coffee shop at the thought of these two perfect people becoming a family of 3!
Lisa and Zach’s sweet baby girl, Cora, just melts my heart. She is just the most perfect being ever created. I was there to welcome her into the world within just hours of her being born. When I first laid eyes on them as a family of 3 my heart exploded. I would being doing a disservice to you if I didn’t share it with you, here. It’s so overwhelming to really put into words how special the Kainer family is to me. I’ve known them for years and it has made my heart so full. Lisa and Zach have been incredible clients and even BETTER friends. People like Lisa and Zach remind me each time I see them what it means to be in the company of a truly uplifting soul. I always feel so welcomed by Lisa- I mean she is just the sweetest.
It has been so incredible to be a part of their family traditions. An honor actually! Lisa and Zach have this adorable handcrafted sign with their last name and the year they got married. They have brought it to each anniversary session and each year it’s looked very different. The first two years they had their sign they were a married couple (we may or may not have forgotten it on year 2), the next they were expecting and this year they had a little helper to hold it! How sweet is that?
Thank you for including me in another wonderful anniversary! I can’t believe that I had the honor of taking your FIRST set of family portraits. XOXO.
